The room was stunning and incredibly comfortable!
Clean place and polite staff, greatly enjoyed marvellous and particularly good location. Location right in the heart of the city was a plus. There were restaurants and bars near the place. Stayed here for one night, nothing to complain about...

we had breakfast in the surroundings of the hotel, we went to a department store restaurant. hotel is very central, close to shops, close to the lake and ships, close to the train station. it is located at one of the biggest places in europe. sights of lucerne are very easy to reach. we received special service at no extra charge in a branch of the hotel, an apartment with a large terrace. since we were on the road a lot, suite gave us a lot of satisfaction. we were allowed to have our doggie at the room without extra charge, also felt very comfortable. in the apartment there was extra wifi with a good connection.
occasionally/nightly there was noise from the street. youth seemed to use some of the local in-pubs for celebrations. therefore closed windows were better for the night's rest.

location great! central of the old town, 2 min to the lake and bus stop. WiFi free of charge, breakfast at heini (good, because otherwise i could not eat in the hotel). get a free ticket to the lucerne bus network.
* wasn't always busy either, had to wait a while for someone to come, despite the bell. * reception only temporarily open. made me feel unsafe. * smell of cheese all over the house. * fragrances in the room gave me a headache. * room and bathroom very narrow and dimly lit. * beds very uncomfortable to lie in. * mildew in the bathroom. * you could hear everything that came into the room from outside with the windows closed. * with the folding table open - cramped walk by, because too narrow. * at breakfast in the heini-laden there was a lot of bread, rolls, delicious -. only 1 butter and 2 packages of jam, no cheese, no sausage, no honey, no more topping.

There is a kitchen corner, the center of the old city, caring staff. Curious design, there is a chair for old times. There is a corkscrew and a beer opener, which will make it easier for you to get acquainted with local drinks. There is a kettle in the room, which is incredibly beautiful.
Good audibility. If someone plays a musical instrument downstairs, you can go to the dance. The bottom door doesn't open very well. By the way, the key to the bottom door is the same as the one that opens the front door. The bathroom drain wasn't working very well. No public transport pass was offered, although it was free in Basel and Geneva. I don't know what this has to do with, maybe some cantonal rules and it's not the hotel's fault.
